NoSQL mobile databases with Realm

With the increase of mobile devices and the tons of new apps available on the different platforms, the need for databases on these applications is in big demand. The traditional relationship databases sometimes get a little hard to configure and keep the data consistent between the server database and the store data on the device. Another aspect we need to take into account is if we are developing for multiple platforms and if we need to develop the data architecture for each platform.

Blockchain enables people to transfer units of value in a secure, efficient and verifiable way, without using an intermediary (i.e. a centralized server or a trusted authority). In technical jargon a blockchain is a distributed and secure database, more commonly referred to as a digital ledger that records transactions in a public or private peer-to-peer network. The first and most prominent use of such unit of value transactions between two parties is Bitcoin, the first digital currency to solve the “double spending” problem.
