Vladimir Solís - Group Project Manager
Vladimir Solis provides high level support to his team of project managers, giving strategic insight based on his extensive experience in project management and systems development. Along with his peers, Vladimir guarantees that his projects meet time and budget requirements and to date has continually fulfilled his clients' expectations
Vladimir has over 15 years of experience in systems and database architecture. Prior to joining Avantica Technologies, Vladimir was IT Manager at a leading commercial bank, where he was responsible for all software development, IT operations and technology strategy. Vladimir has a BS and an MS in Systems Engineering from the University of Costa Rica.
Rodrigo Briceño - Group Project Manager
Rodrigo Briceño has over 17 years of experience in systems and database architecture, with extensive practice in project management and systems development. Such experience has proven critical in his focus on the strategic oversight and coordination of numerous projects, providing an additional layer of support to his team of project managers. Rodrigo has maintained a solid base of long term client relationships, the longest of which has lasted for over 8 years. As his clients' products rise to become market leaders in their own industries, Rodrigo is continuously motivated to continue fulfilling their needs.
Prior to joining Avantica Technologies, Rodrigo held a consulting position at the World Bank's Costa Rican offices and was also project manager at a commercial bank in Costa Rica. Rodrigo has a BS in Systems Engineering and additional studies in finance from the University of Costa Rica.
Juan C. Porras - Group Project Manager
Juan Carlos applies his extensive project management experience in the strategic oversight and coordination of numerous projects, ensuring they are executed successfully. He also formed Avantica's QA Division and only months later, developed various metrics including statistics and quality control which helped the company see record results in project management. Juan Carlos also played a critical role in many of Avantica's breakthrough projects both for clients and for the company, including Avantica's creation of software solutions which are now being used by 11 financial banks in Costa Rica.
Juan Carlos has over 19 years experience in systems development and database architecture, including the systems development for the financial and pension fund sector of many institutions in Latin America. Prior to joining Avantica Technologies, Juan Carlos worked as an international consultant with Canadian and E.U.A companies in the worldwide micro-finance sector, developing and implementing projects for many countries in Latin America and Africa. Juan Carlos has a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Costa Rica. He keeps a work-life balance by deep sea diving and enjoying music.
