One online review says:

"What Microsoft was trying to do with Windows 8 and Surface was to reimagine Windows.  The objective was to produce a new operating system that would go toe-to-toe with the iPad and the Android pretenders (ie: tablets).  But all Surface Pro 3 customers are left with is an (admittedly nice) laptop, which runs Windows, with a pen.  It's Windows XP Tablet PC Edition all over again now."

A 2nd online review says:

"It took several tries, but Microsoft has finally delivered a device that lives up to the bold promise of its Surface (ie: tablet) line."

Two very different reviews.  So, which is it?  Is the iPad and Android tablet killer finally here?  You can make your own conclusion by reading the full articles in ZDNet and VentureBeat.
